Story

Hi all,

I’m here to ask for funding for my blocked account visa to Germany. I am a student from the USA who is really excited to study abroad at a foreign university where I can learn a new language and experience university without high-priced student loans. It has always been my dream to be an interior designer/architect, and my biggest goal in life is to achieve a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in architecture. If I am blessed enough, I will go on to pursue a doctorate as well. It is my dream to use my architecture experience, education, and salary to help those in need and to pay it forward to the community however necessary. I would love to one day travel to poor countries to build homes and schools for free for children in poverty.

I currently do have a full-time job that is supplementing my visa fund of about $12,000. However, I recently adopted my two younger siblings after our parents passed away, and they take up most of my income, although I am overjoyed and so fulfilled to take care of them. With these expenses, it’s unlikely that I will realistically achieve my $12,000 goal. I come from a poverty-stricken family that is unable to finance any of my goals in any way, and I will be the first in my family to pursue higher education.

I really am not asking for much money. Although my goal here is to raise even $5,000 to supplement my current savings, something as little as $20 would keep me encouraged and motivated to pursue my dreams in life despite my major setbacks. I don’t want to let my finances be the reason that I cannot achieve my goals, and I really hope that my passion for architecture and passion for education speaks through my words here. I would be so grateful for any amount of help or assistance.
